Summer finds - planters

It was so hot all summer I didn't do much but read. I did manage a few flea markets and garage sales and will share them over the next days (or weeks)

Weekend Shopping 01

We have been away for 4 days and we managed to hit a few thrift shops, Garage Sales and Dollar stores. Here is what I found for a total of $8.50 at our first stop at a Thrift store.
I collect anything I can find with the "Blue Onion" pattern on it and lucked in with the 2 bowls and 2 plates. The bowls were made in the Philippines.

The plates were made in Brazil. There are many many varieties of this pattern.

The small bowl has no markings but is so pretty I couldn't resist it.

The angels are hard to photograph but they all have a place for a votive candle at the back. The 2 small ones are playing string instruments and the large one is 3 angels.

Found

I cleaned out the top drawer of the buffet today. You know the one. It is where you put things that have no home. I found these neat trays in their original box. I had forgotten all about them. They are very pretty and there are three of them. I wonder what ever happened to the fourth?

Fatima Treasures

On final check through Uncle Bill's travel brochures before I recycled them I found 2 little white bags with items he had purchased on his trip to Fatima in Portugal. There was the little wooden plaque, 3 full size rosaries and 2 single decade rosaries, one of which was very primitive looking made with a wooden cross, wood beads and a shiny string.
