Victoria Weekend Garage Sales

I couldn't wait to share all my fun garage sale finds.
The whole lot cost less then $55.00. The McGill Multi Tags punch costs $24.99 in our local Scrapbooking store and is $19.99 on the internet + $7.92 shipping. I found it with the 3 triangle bottles in a box for $1.00!

Found the Cupboard

We finally found just the right cupboard to finish off the furniture in the kitchen. It is a dry sink and I love the drawer. It's is not old but fits in perfectly with what we already have. We found it at a flea market in Perth

and I also found this tea pot.
Today I made a new door decoration. Isn't this bird cute!

Old Jug

When my parents sold their cottage many years ago I asked for a couple of things before it went on the market. One of them was this jug.

It depicts hunting scenes and has this cute fox on the handle.

These are the markings on the bottom. Does anyone recognize them?

Right now it is in a small vignette on my dish cupboard.

Weekend Shopping 02

We stopped at a Church rummage sale and I found this little tin which matches the trays and tins I already had.

The wood dominoes were in the box lid only:

Weekend Shopping 01

We have been away for 4 days and we managed to hit a few thrift shops, Garage Sales and Dollar stores. Here is what I found for a total of $8.50 at our first stop at a Thrift store.
I collect anything I can find with the "Blue Onion" pattern on it and lucked in with the 2 bowls and 2 plates. The bowls were made in the Philippines.

The plates were made in Brazil. There are many many varieties of this pattern.

The small bowl has no markings but is so pretty I couldn't resist it.

The angels are hard to photograph but they all have a place for a votive candle at the back. The 2 small ones are playing string instruments and the large one is 3 angels.

Dirty camera

I spent a lot of time outside a couple of days ago taking pictures of all my kitchen doilies. I took singles and groups and pairs and so on. Lots of pictures. I was so disappointed when I downloaded then and discovered I had a dirty spot right in the middle of my lens. All my lovely photos have blurry centres! :( Now I will have to wait for another sunny day to do it all again.
